Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, magmaitites. Nature Reserve. Rocky slopes overlooking the Otava River valley. Bedrocks consist mostly of biotite and hornblende-biotite granodiorite with preferred orientation of textural elements. In marginal parts also two-mica granite of the Central Bohemian Plutonic Complex occurs.
